Job summary

Nasittuq is seeking Facilities Maintenance Technicians – Electricians to support the North Warning System in remote Arctic locations such as Saglek Bay, NL. The role offers a 6x6 rotation (6 weeks on, 6 weeks off) with FIFO and accommodations provided during work rotations.

Candidates must hold a Red Seal or Journeyperson license, have 5+ years industrial maintenance experience, and be able to obtain Security Clearance. The position is permanent and offers a stable, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Red Seal or provincially licensed industrial electrician (or equivalent journeyperson)
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Minimum 5 years journeyperson experience in an industrial maintenance environment
• Experience with electrical power generation, distribution, and control systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level Security Clearance
• Ability to work at heights, travel to remote sites, and wear required PPE

Nasittuq is seeking Facilities Maintenance Technicians – Electricians to join their team supporting the North Warning System in remote Arctic locations such as Saglek Bay, NL. What You’ll Need

• Red Seal or Provincially Licensed Industrial Electrician (or equivalent recognized Journeyperson certification)
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Minimum 5 years of Journeyperson experience in an industrial maintenance environment
• Experience with electrical power generation, distribution, and control systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level Security Clearance
• Ability to work at heights, travel to remote sites, and wear required PPE
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Physically able to work in demanding Arctic conditions
