Big Country Equipment Repair Ltd. seeks experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics for a Canada-wide rotation in British Columbia.

This role covers diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on mining and construction equipment, with paid flights, company housing, and a $60 daily meal allowance. Ideal candidates hold a provincial heavy-duty tech cert, strong troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, plus a clean driving record.

Heavy Duty Mechanics - 14/14 - Canada Wide Paid Flights + Housing + $60 Meal Allowance - Up to $93.75/hr - British Columbia, BC

Big Country Equipment is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team in British Columbia. This rotational field-service role involves diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy mining and construction equipment. The company offers paid flights from anywhere in Canada, company-provided housing, and a generous meal allowance. Ideal candidates are licensed technicians with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety.

What You'll Need

• Three or more years of recent experience diagnosing and repairing heavy or off-road equipment
• Valid provincial trade certification as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician (preferred)
• Licensed Truck and Transport Mechanics or Agricultural Equipment Technicians with relevant experience may be considered
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, transmission, drivetrain)
• Experience using computerized diagnostic software and testing equipment
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. comfortably
• Pass a Criminal Record check
• Clean 5-year driver's abstract
• Pass an 8-panel drug test (including marijuana) and alcohol breath test
• Provide at least 2 direct supervisor references
