Job summary

Fountain Tire Ltd. in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a Tire Technician to install a variety of tires and use computer diagnostics to balance tires, rotate tires, and repair tires safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years experience in tire service.
• Experience working with passenger, light truck, medium truck, farm, industrial, and OTR tires, specialty tire services, and wheels.
• Ability to lift 25+ kilograms.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installing a variety of Commercial and OTR tires.
• Using computer diagnostics to balance tires.
• Rotating Tires to ensure proper wear.
• Repairing tires in a safe and efficient manner.
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
• Maintaining tire service equipment.
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
• Understanding and adhering to safe operation of all equipment.

The successful candidate will:
