Job summary

Fountain Tire Timmins is seeking a responsible, safe and dedicated associate as a Commercial Tire Technician. Competitive wages of CAD 30–35 per hour accompany health, dental, vision benefits and RRSP with company matching. You’ll receive training to develop skills and certifications, with regular full-time day shifts and overtime opportunities.

Expect to work on trucks, farm, industrial and OTR tires, and interact with customers while upholding safety for you and your team.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent commercial tire experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a driver's abstract.
• Physical work including lifting up to 100 pounds, in varied conditions.
• Willingness to be on call after hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and repair truck, farm, industrial and OTR tires.
• Greet and communicate with customers on repair, service and tire sales.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers on the job.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Take pride in quality workmanship and keeping customers on the road.

Whatkind of person are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of recent commercial tire experience in a professional setting
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required
