Job summary

Fountain Tire Timmins is seeking a responsible, safe associate to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician. You will inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair a range of tires while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

The role requires staying safety-conscious and ready for varied daily tasks with potential overtime We offer competitive wages, benefits, and training, plus health, dental, and vision coverage and RRSP matching.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent commercial tire experience in a professional setting.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
• Work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy, etc., and you must be up for the challenge.
• Must be able to be on call after hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds if required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires.
• Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service and tire sales.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers on the job.
• Take pride in the work you’ve done to keep customers safe and on the road.

What kind of person are we looking for?
