Job summary

Fountain Tire Ltd. is seeking a Tire Technician to install and service tires across commercial and OTR applications. You will work with a team, follow safety protocols, and use diagnostics to ensure proper tire balancing and wear.

The ideal candidate brings 1+ year of tire service experience, can lift 25+ kilograms, holds a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and communicates well with customers and teammates. Fountain Tire offers market wages, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with passenger, light/medium trucks, farm, industrial, and OTR tires.

Responsibilities

• Installing a variety of Commercial and OTR tires.
• Using computer diagnostics to balance tires.
• Rotating Tires to ensure proper wear.
• Repairing tires in a safe and efficient manner.
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
• Maintaining tire service equipment.
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
• Understanding and adhering to safe operation of all equipment.

The successful candidate will:

• Installing a variety of Commercial and OTR tires

Requirements:

• At least 1+ years experience of tire service, experience working with passenger, light truck, medium truck, farm, industrial, and OTR tires, specialty tire services, and wheels is required
• Ability to lift 25+ kilograms
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers; this includes good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a valid class 5 driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from province of residence.
