Job summary

Fountain Tire in Ontario is seeking a Mine Tire Technician to join our team and help keep our customers moving. You will install a variety of tires, balance with computer diagnostics, and ensure safe, reliable service for commercial and off-the-road tires.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of tire service experience, can lift 25 kg+, and holds a valid Class 5 driver's license. We offer competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a supportive network.

Responsibilities

• Installing a variety of Commercial and OTR tires
• Using computer diagnostics to balance tires
• Rotating Tires to ensure proper wear
• Repairing tires in a safe and efficient manner
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Understanding and adhering to safe operation of all equipment

The successful candidate will

• Installing a variety of Commercial and OTR tires

Requirements

• At least 1+ years experience of tire service, experience working with passenger, light truck, medium truck, farm, industrial, and OTR tires, specialty tire services, and wheels is required
• Ability to lift 25+ kilograms
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers; this includes good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a valid class 5 driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from province of residence.
