Job summary

Fountain Tire Winnipeg Warman Road is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires, and help manage tire services in a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with passenger and light truck tires is preferred.
• Motivated, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to lift 25 kilograms and pass Driver's Abstract.

Responsibilities

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing TPMS.
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Completing specialty tire work such as studding, retread, run-flat, nitrogen.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and counts.
• Maintain a safe environment for yourself and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Winnipeg Warman Road (140 Warman Rd.), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
