Job summary

Fountain Tire Spruce Grove is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You’ll install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels, and maintain TPMS systems in a clean, safe shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, nitrogen, etc.).
• Contribute to a safe, respectful work environment.

Overview

Fountain Tire Spruce Grove (24 Alberta Ave),an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
