Job summary

Aplin is seeking a Business Improvement Lead for a landmark Canadian mining project. You will lead initiatives that boost productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness across the operation, shaping performance as the mine ramps up.

Working with leaders across Mining, Mill, Maintenance and Technical Services, you will establish processes to track initiatives, measure results and drive accountability for progress.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in mining operations.
• Strong background in operational readiness and continuous improvement.
• Engineering background with underground gold mining and milling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate productivity, efficiency and cost-improvement initiatives across the operation.
• Collaborate with Mining, Mill, Maintenance, Technical Services and support functions.
• Establish processes to track initiatives, measure results and drive accountability.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and structure for improvement opportunities.
• Prioritize and implement improvement projects through to results.
