Big Country Equipment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planner for a 14/14 camp rotation at a Southern B.C. mine site. You will develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for fixed plant equipment, leveraging CMMS systems to improve reliability and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in electrical planning within mining, strong problem-solving and communication, and the ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment under provincial mining regulations.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred).
• 3–5 years electrical planning experience in fixed plant/mill mine environment.
• 3+ years hands-on experience installing and maintaining electrical systems in mining.
• Expert knowledge of CMMS programs (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Familiarity with electrical distribution, PLC/DCS, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial networking.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook; MS Project is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to remain fit for duty in safety-sensitive environment.
• Experience with Canadian provincial mining regulatory frameworks.
