Job summary

Martinrea International Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to ensure all machines at Rollstar Metal Forming are maintained and operating properly.

The role requires Red Seal 433A certification and at least five years in a similar position, with strong English communication and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency with presses, blueprints, and welding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Red Seal 433A certification required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with good communication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience working with presses.
• Knowledge of machine rigging procedures.
• Basic knowledge of machining and welding (tig, mig and stick).
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, specifications and manuals.
• Possess own tools and toolbox.
• Holding dual tickets is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose root causes; perform diagnostics and advise on parts.
• Maintain filled paperwork and logs prior to shift end.
• Physically maintain machines and equipment.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedule and programs.
• Maintain company tools and perform regular instrument checks.
• Record and report product damage or nonconformities.
• Provide training as required and support daily production needs.
• Work on ladders, lifts and scaffolds and operate safely.
