Job summary

Martinrea International Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure all machines at Rollstar Metal Forming are properly maintained and operating.

The role requires a Red Seal 433A and at least five years' experience in a similar position, with strong mechanical and electrical understanding and ability to read drawings and manuals. Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and supporting production with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Provincial Red Seal 433A certification is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Ability to read, write and speak English with good communication.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
• Experience with presses and machine rigging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose root causes.
• Perform full equipment diagnostics and advise on parts needed.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and logs.
• Physically maintain machines and equipment.
• Work with ladders, lifts and scaffolds and support production needs.
• Complete routine paperwork and recordkeeping.
