Job summary

Martinrea International Inc. is seeking a Millwright to ensure all machines are maintained and operating correctly at our Vaughan facility. You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs, while maintaining accurate logs and following safety procedures.

The role requires reading drawings and manuals, basic machining and welding knowledge, and strong English communication. A minimum of 1 year in a similar role or an approved apprenticeship is expected, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• High mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical/electrical procedures.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, specifications and manuals.
• Good communicator in English, both written and oral.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role or completed a credited apprenticeship.
• Knowledge of machine rigging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
• Diagnose equipment and advise on parts needed for repairs.
• Physically maintain machines and equipment at MJ Manufacturing.
• Complete paperwork and logs before shift end.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety guidelines at all times.
• Support weekly production requirements and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor downtime and contribute to department goals.
