Job summary

Martinrea International Inc. seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep presses and forming equipment in optimal condition at Rollstar Metal Forming.

The role demands strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge, with at least five years in a similar setting, and a valid Red Seal 433A certification. You will read drawings, follow preventive maintenance schedules, maintain logs, and perform diagnostics while coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Provincial Red Seal 433A certification is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient English communication, written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with presses is preferred.
• Own tools and toolbox; dual tickets are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose root causes of issues in equipment.
• Perform full diagnostics on equipment and advise supervisor of parts required.
• Physically maintain machines and equipment.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedule and logs.
• Ensure paperwork is completed prior to shift end.
• Support daily production requirements and work with minimal supervision.
