WB Melback Corporation is seeking a Millwright (Journeyperson/Apprentice) to join our team in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario. The role involves installing, inspecting, and repairing industrial equipment and maintaining high safety standards on project sites across Canada.
The successful candidate will have millwright experience (journeyman or apprentice), the ability to work with minimal supervision, and the physical capability to lift 50 lbs.
WB Melback Corporation is a wholly Canadian owned company with headquarters based in Haileybury, Ontario with job sites all over the country. WB Melback Corporation provides Mechanical Maintenance and Industrial Construction Services to Forestry and Mining sectors across Canada.
We are currently looking for Journeyman/Millwrights who have experience with industrial and construction equipment maintenance. You will be responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations. You will be required to maintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures. You work as part of a team but would routinely perform work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing your duties.
10.5 Hours Shifts (10 hours paid with 30 min unpaid meal break)
Six (6) days on and One (1) day off rotation for a minimum of
three (3) consecutive weeks, then you are eligible for seven
(7) to ten (10) days off. Those choosing to revoke days off, must
submit request form to the Human Resources department a
minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the beginning of their
scheduled time off.
Or
Twenty- one (21) days on followed by seven (7) to ten (10) days off.
