Job summary

Intersand is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (electromechanic) to ensure the reliable operation of production equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across our manufacturing lines.

You will lead preventive maintenance programs, replace worn components, and support installation of new equipment, contributing to efficiency and safety. The role is onsite in Canada with focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Vocational Studies in electromechanics or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of welding, assembly, troubleshooting automated systems, and reading electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform production start-ups, calibrations, and quality checks to ensure smooth operations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Replace and adjust components such as bearings, belts, valves, and sensors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and document interventions in GAMO.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and participate in improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot automated systems and recommend solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, identify hazards, and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.

Theirexpertisein troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair is essential to guaranteeoptimalperformance and efficiency across our operations.

• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices, WHMIS regulations, and preventive maintenance programs.
