Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice Millwrights to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 October Outage. Day and night shifts are available.

Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. Responsibilities include reading manuals, performing preventive maintenance, and lubricating components with attention to tolerances. Qualified candidates hold an Apprenticeship and must pass safety tests such as CSTS 09/CSO, Confined Space, Fall

Qualifications

• Must have completed apprenticeship and be eligible for the millwright trade.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol test required.
• Certifications CSTS 09 or CSO preferred.
• Safety trainings such as Confined Space, Fall Protection, and Basic Rigging required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret equipment manuals to determine standard operating and maintenance procedures.
• Perform scheduled or preventive maintenance in mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic repairs of equipment.
• Lubricate moving parts including bearings, gears, shafts; connect couplings and belts to tolerance.

Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice Millwrights to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 October Outage. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as October 5th and lasting as late as October 23rd.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret equipment manuals to determine standard operating and maintenance procedures.
• Perform Scheduled or preventive maintenance in mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic repairs of equipment
• Lubricate all moving parts including bearings, gears and shaft, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.
