Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Millwright journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available.

Travel to and from the site by flights from Edmonton or Calgary. The turnaround features a 6 days on / 1 day off rotation, with camp accommodations provided. Start as early as Sep 7, 2026 and end by Oct 7, 2026.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal.
• Valid apprenticeship completed.
• Driver's Abstract required.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test and mask fit completed.
• CSTS 09 or CSO training.
• Confined Space - ESC certification.
• Fall Protection - ESC certification.
• AWP - ESC certification.
• Firewatch training.
• Basic Rigging knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of piping components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending.
• Use testing equipment to check leaks and troubleshoot fittings.

Jardeg is recruiting Millwright journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. The shift rotation is 6 days on, 1 day off during the turnaround with overtime. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) are provided by the company.

Travel allowance available for qualified applicants.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as Sep 7th 2026 and lasting as late as Oct 7th 2026.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
