FLINT is seeking skilled tradespeople for a Pulp Mill Turnaround in Peace River, Alberta. Location: Peace River, Alberta. Duration: September 8 - 16, 2026.

The role involves maintenance, repair, installation, and turnaround activities on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment to support safe and reliable mill operations. Candidates must hold a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice certificate, have 4+ years industrial experience, meet safety ticket requirements, and be fluent

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of industrial experience preferred.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: WHMIS, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Aerial Work Platform.
• No virtual option - in-person attendance required for the following ticket requirements.
• Welders are to provide the following tickets: CWB, B-Pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and turnaround activities on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment to support safe and reliable mill operations.
• Continuous Schedule
• 8-hour regular time and 2-hour overtime workdays
• Mobilization/Demobilization provided for up to 12 hours of travel each way.
• LOA for non-locals: $170 per day

Details

• Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and turnaround activities on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment to support safe and reliable mill operations.
• Continuous Schedule
• 8 -hour regular time and 2-hour overtime workdays
• Mobilization/Demobilization provided for up to 12 hours of travel each way.
