Job summary

FLINT Corp. is hiring skilled trades professionals for a short-term project in Peace River, Alberta. The roles include pipefitters, millwrights, electricians, instrumentation technicians and welders for a turnaround in September 2026. The position is safety-sensitive and requires in-person attendance to meet ticket requirements.

Working on a 8-hour day with 2 hours of overtime, LOA is provided for non-locals. Transportation to the site and travel logistics are part of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid safety tickets (WHMIS) and site-specific tickets.
• In-person attendance required for ticket requirements (no virtual option).
• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and turnaround activities on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment to support safe and reliable mill operations.
• Continuous Schedule
• 8 -hour regular time and 2-hour overtime workdays
• Mobilization/Demobilization provided for up to 12 hours of travel each way.
• LOA for non-locals: $ 170 per day

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of industrial experience preferred.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: + WHMIS
• No virtual option - in-person attendance required for the following ticket requirements. + Fall Protection + Confined Space Entry + Aerial Work Platform
• Welders are to provide the following tickets: + CWB + B-Pressure
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have your own reliable transportation to the site.
• Valid driver's license and clean 5-year Driver's Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information
