Job summary

FLINT is actively seeking skilled tradespeople for a Pulp Mill turnaround in Peace River, Alberta. Positions include Pipefitters, Millwrights, Electricians, Instrumentation Technicians, and Welders. In-person attendance is required with emphasis on safety and reliability, and LOA accommodations are provided for non-locals.

Expect continuous work with an 8-hour day plus overtime as needed. Mobilization/demobilization support and a daily LOA allowance apply for non-local candidates; valid trade

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of industrial experience preferred.
• Meet mandatory safety ticket requirements (WHMIS, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Aerial Work Platform).
• Welders must provide CWB and B-Pressure tickets.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and turnaround activities on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment.
• Support safe and reliable mill operations with continuous schedule.
• Work 8 hours with optional 2 hours overtime on regular days.
• Mobilization/demobilization provided for up to 12 hours of travel each way.
• LOA for non-locals: $170 per day.

Details:
