Job summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking skilled Iron Workers and Pipefitters for a Fort McMurray project. The role involves constructing and installing exchangers, tie-ins, piping and structural components on a 14/7 rotation with 11-hour days.

Camp accommodations are provided, with FI/FO flight hubs in Edmonton and Calgary. Requirements include a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate, 4 years of oil and gas construction experience, mandatory safety tickets, and the ability to work in-person.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate required.
  • Minimum 4 years in oil and gas construction projects preferred.
  • Common Safety Orientation, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform tickets required.
  • No virtual option — in-person attendance required for ticketing requirements.
  • Welders must provide CWB and B-Pressure tickets.
  • Physically capable of demanding tasks in varying conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Own reliable transportation to site and a clean 5-year driving abstract (under 6 demerits).

Responsibilities

  • Perform iron worker and pipefitter tasks on site: excha ngers, tie-ins, bolt-up/welding, piping, structural installation.
  • Work on a 14/7 rotation with 11-hour days and OT after 8 hours.
  • Camp accommodations provided; FI/FO with flight hubs in Edmonton and Calgary.
