Job summary

The Pod Group in Vaughan, Canada seeks a Millwork Project Coordinator to manage and expedite the project cycle from order entry through completion. You will coordinate with manufacturing, shipping, and installation teams, maintain project data, and provide frontline customer service and support to the Project Manager.

Ideal candidates have millwork/store fixture experience, strong MS Word/Excel skills, and a post-secondary education.

Qualifications

Must have post-secondary education.
Experience in millwork and/or store fixture industry is required.
Proficient with MS Office (MS Word/Excel).
Understanding of MRP fundamentals is preferred.
Highly organized with initiative.
Able to work independently and multi-task.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team-oriented with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and organize activities surrounding the project cycle.
Monitor each project from order entry to completion.
Support the Project Management team with sales orders, production meetings, and shipping schedules.
Maintain/update project information through Vantage; manage ship schedules and expediting.
Manage order entry data and manufacturing/shipping documentation.
Develop competencies in design, detail, quality, and engineering of products.
Maintain project schedules coordinating manufacturing, shipping, and installation.
Provide customer service and backup to the Project Manager.
Complete store quantity takeoffs for multi-store rollouts.
