Job summary

UrbanVista Cabinets is seeking a Custom Cabinetry / Millwork Project Manager to own projects from design through installation at our Port Coquitlam facility. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on coordination, scheduling, and ensuring accurate scope execution for high-end cabinetry and millwork projects.

You will collaborate with designers, production, and installation teams, read shop drawings, manage timelines, and drive projects to successful completion while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management or coordination in custom cabinetry or millwork.
• Ability to read cabinetry drawings and shop drawings.
• Experience with manufacturing environment and on-site coordination.
• Strong English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Project Handoff & Ownership: Take over confirmed projects from the sales team and review scope before moving forward.
• Project Planning & Scheduling: Establish milestones and maintain status in internal system.
• Site Coordination: Perform site measurements, verify readiness, identify conflicts.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with designers for dimensions, specs and revisions.
• Production Coordination: Communicate between front office and Production Manager, monitor progress and materials.
• Delivery & Installation Coordination: Schedule delivery/installation with clients and team.
• Change & Risk Management: Document changes and prevent delays or rework.
• Project Closeout: Ensure completion, client sign-off, and item resolution.
• Client & Trade Communication: Maintain professional communication with homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors.
