Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Direct Store Delivery Associate in the Surrey, BC area to coordinate and process direct and local shipments, ensuring merchandise reaches the sales floor promptly. You’ll support a smooth shopping experience by keeping stock flowing and accessible to customers.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and training others to follow standard receiving procedures while adapting to a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with receiving and processing direct shipments.
• Ability to operate safety procedures and equipment properly.

Responsibilities

• Secure and manage merchandise in designated areas following procedures.
• Receive and process direct and local deliveries to the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized receiving area and complete required documentation.
• Follow safe work practices and proper use of equipment (box cutters, pallet jacks, ladders).
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and team to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with security and key control guidelines.
• Maintain cold chain documentation using allowed logs or apps.
• Train and support fellow associates to adhere to Receiving processes.
• Be flexible with shift availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
