Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Direct Store Delivery Associate in Oakville, ON. The role involves coordinating and processing direct and local merchandise to ensure timely delivery to the sales floor, supporting a smooth shopping experience for customers.

You will handle receiving, documentation, safety procedures, and collaboration with store leadership to resolve issues. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Secures high-ticket merchandise in designated locations according to Company procedures.
• Processes direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise, alcohol, and warehouse trailer deliveries, to support timely movement of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintains a clean, organized receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and MTRs for shipment and completing documentation accurately.
• Follows safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and safe use of box cutters, pallet jacks, ladders and other equipment.
• Works with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to identify and resolve receiving issues or discrepancies efficiently.
• Safeguards backdoor access and key controls to ensure compliance with Company guidelines and security standards.
• Follows cold chain procedures to maintain product quality, documenting information using the Receiving Temperature Log or Sure Check App.
• Trains and supports other Direct Store Delivery Associates to ensure consistency in receiving processes and standards.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
