Responsibilities

  • Secure and manage merchandise in designated areas following procedures.
  • Receive and process direct and local deliveries to the sales floor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized receiving area and complete required documentation.
  • Follow safe work practices and proper use of equipment (box cutters, pallet jacks, ladders).
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and team to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with security and key control guidelines.
  • Maintain cold chain documentation using allowed logs or apps.
  • Train and support fellow associates to adhere to Receiving processes.
  • Be flexible with shift availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking an engaging role in customer service or retail.What you'll do...WHAT YOU'LL DOSecure and Manage MerchandiseEnsures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in designated locations in accordance with Company procedures.Receive and Process DeliveriesProcesses direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise, alcohol, and warehouse trailer deliveries, to support timely movement of merchandise to the sales floor.Receiving Area Organization and DocumentationMaintains a clean and organized receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and MTRs for shipment and completing all required documentation accurately.Safety and Equipment UseFollows and promotes safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and safe use of box cutters, pallet jacks, ladders, and other equipment.Team Collaboration and Issue ResolutionWorks closely with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to identify and resolve receiving issues or discrepancies efficiently.Security and Key Control ComplianceSafeguards backdoor access and key controls to ensure compliance with Company guidelines and security standards.Cold Chain and Quality ComplianceFollows cold chain procedures to maintain product quality, including documenting required information using the Receiving Temperature Log or Sure Check App.Associate Training and SupportTrains and supports other Directs Store Delivery Associates to ensure consistent adherence to receiving processes and standards.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
