Job summary

CAA Saskatchewan in Swift Current is hiring a Member Services Representative for a full-time, permanent role. Starting wage is $17.95 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Work schedule is five days a week, Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The role focuses on promoting memberships, handling SGI licensing services, and assisting Members with travel and insurance products. A high school diploma and a valid insurance licence are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year insurance sales experience.
  • Valid Auto and/or Travel Insurance Licence required.
  • Experience in customer service or administrative role preferred in auto licensing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Axis System; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Promote, sell, renew, and upgrade CAA memberships.
  • Assess members’ needs to offer appropriate products and services.
  • Process SGI motor license services including registrations and licensing.
  • Issue license plates, renewals, and related documents.
  • Provide travel services such as tour books, maps, and insurance; other products as needed.
  • Perform data entry, file maintenance, and payments processing.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Promoting, selling, renewing, and upgrading CAA memberships.
  • Assessing members needs to determine the best possible solution through the sale, service or referral of appropriate CAA products, services, and memberships.
  • Process SGI Motor License issuing services, including vehicle registrations, renewals, driver licensing, and appointment scheduling.
  • Issue license plates, renewals, and related documentation accurately.
  • Offering members auto travel services which include tour books, trip routings, maps, and insurance, along with other ancillary products and services as required.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, file maintenance, record keeping, and processing payments.
Requirements
Experience & Requirements:
  • High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of insurance sales experience
  • Valid Auto and/or Travel Insurance Licence required
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative role, preferably in an auto licensing or motor vehicle environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Axis System.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner.

This role involves working five days per week, Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with scheduling based on business needs.
