Job summary

YMCA Saskatoon is seeking a community-oriented, full-time Member Services representative who will greet and assist members, provide tours, and share information on programs and services. The role emphasizes friendly, customer-focused service with early morning hours and a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales, and tours and invite prospective members to join.

• Stay informed on YMCA programs and services offered.
• Develop positive relationships with participants, peers, volunteers and parents.
• Address member concerns in a customer-oriented manner.
• Deliver quick, friendly service in person or by phone.
• Maintain confidentiality in internal human resource issues and membership.
• Collaborate with all departments for clear communication.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent service to customers and staff.
• Respond to concerns positively and supportively.
• Maintain neat, clean, safe area and balance cash receipts and floats.
• Perform any other duties to Member Services staff and area.

We are looking for a full-time staff who loves the early mornings and is ready to engage with our members.

40 hours a week: Monday - Friday 5:15 am - 1:45 pm

The YMCA of Saskatoon is seeking a community-oriented, team player to join our Membership Experience Department. This role is a full-time position that will be one of the first points of contact for those entering our facility. If you love working with people and making a difference in the community and to those around you, we want to hear from you!

Duties:

• Provide sales, and tours and invite prospective members to join
• Provide program and membership information
• Strive to stay informed and up to date on all YMCA programs and services being offered
• Develop positive relationships with participants, peers, volunteers and parents
• Solve member concerns in a customer-oriented manner
• Serve each member, participant, potential member, volunteer and staff quick, friendly service when they are visiting the YMCA in person or when they call
• Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to internal human resource issues and membership
• Work effectively with all departments to ensure excellent communication regarding programs and services
• Support and work as part of a team to ensure excellent service to both customers and fellow employees
• Respond to all concerns in a positive and supportive manner
• Maintain a neat, clean, safe and organized area
• Be responsible for the security of cash and to balance receipts and floats
• Any other assigned duties to Member services staff and area

Availability

This is a full-time position; early mornings.
