Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular full-time Medical Services Representative to join the Medical Laboratory & Stem Cell Services Ancaster team. The role supports administrative functions for Medical Services Programs and team members, handling data entry, correspondence and office operations.

The position emphasizes strong organization and communication skills, with a hybrid work arrangement and on-site presence 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education. Preferably a two (2) year post-secondary diploma in related field and/or recent related experience.
• An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
• Technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize multiple tasks to be completed by varied deadlines.
• Complete meticulous data entry and manage administrative responsibilities, including office equipment operation, and correspondence preparation.
• Become team oriented and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Ability to work independently as well.
• Communicate in writing and/or verbally with internal and external customers.
• Navigate periods of intense workflow and maintain productivity.

About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Medical Services Representative to join our dynamic Medical Laboratory & Stem Cell Services Ancaster team.

TheMedical Laboratory & Stem Cell Servicesteam is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by providing administrative support for all Medical Services Programs and to the members of the team as necessary for our National consolidated workload.

• Leveraging your excellent organizational and time management skills, you will prioritize multiple tasks to be completed by varied deadlines.
• With your background in administration, you will complete meticulous data entry and manage administrative responsibilities, includingoffice equipment operation, and correspondence preparation.
• Harnessing your capability to work with well others, you will become team oriented and thrive in a collaborative team environment.Ability to work independently as well.
• Utilizing your superior interpersonal and communication skills you will communicatein both written and/or verbal with internal and external customers.

What you can expect

• This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite 35 Stone Church Rd, Ancaster, Ontario, Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time/days of the week.
• Shift/hours - Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:00.
• Physical requirements -ability to lift weight up to 10 kg (22 lbs).
