Job summary

AAA Canada is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the evening shift at our Mirabel facility. You will diagnose equipment malfunctions, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document breakdowns.

You will collaborate with maintenance teams and other departments, update procedures and drawings, and participate in continuous improvement of the maintenance department. Fluency in French is required with working English.

Qualifications

• College diploma (DEC) in industrial mechanics.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Technical skills in industrial mechanics and electromechanics.
• Proficiency with SAP and office software is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve any equipment malfunctions.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
• Complete breakdown reports.
• Use a CMMS software (search for parts, drawings, work procedures, etc.).
• Participate in breakdown analyses.
• Exchange and communicate with the maintenance team and various internal departments.
• Contact technical services of various manufacturers when needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
• Update work procedures and electrical drawings in cooperation with the reliability engineer.
• Update lockout tags.
• Participate in equipment updates and improvements.
