Job summary

AAA Canada is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the evening shift in Mirabel. You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document activities using CMMS.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve potential equipment malfunctions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
• Complete failure reports and update CMMS with findings.
• Participate in failure analysis and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and internal departments.
• Engage with technical support from various manufacturers as needed.
• Update electrical drawings and work instructions with the reliability specialist.

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and resolving potential equipment malfunctions.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
• Completing failure reports.
• Using CMMS software (parts research, drawings, work instructions, etc.).
• Participating in failure analysis.
• Communicating and collaborating with the maintenance team and various internal departments.
• Contacting technical support services from different manufacturers when required.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
• Updating work instructions and electrical drawings in collaboration with the reliability specialist.
• Updating lockout/tagout procedures.
• Participating in equipment updates and improvements.

Your Profile:

• College diploma in Industrial Mechanics.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Technical skills: Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, SAP.
• Language(s): French mandatory, functional English.
• Soft skills: Ability to make technical decisions. Strong analytical skills, autonomous, team player, and good listening skills.
