Job summary

Nolinor Aviation in Mirabel (YMX) is seeking a certified aircraft maintenance technician for the evening shift. You will perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, inspect components, and write technical reports to ensure airworthiness and safety.

Some travel across Canada and occasional international trips are required. Ideal candidates hold an Aircraft Maintenance Technology Diploma, M2 certification, and have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Must have Aircraft Maintenance Technology Diploma and M2 certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong knowledge of French (written and spoken) and good English.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and passport or be able to obtain them.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on aircraft mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Inspect, repair and replace faulty components using tools and testing equipment.
  • Write technical reports documenting work performed.
  • Verify compliance with Transport Canada standards and company procedures.
  • Be willing to travel across Canada and occasionally internationally.

Nolinor is looking for a certified aircraft maintenance technician for the evening shift. We are seeking professional candidates who are dedicated to ensuring the proper functioning of aircraft as well as the safety of the crew members and passengers.   • Perform maintenance on the necessary mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of aircraft;
  • Inspect, repair, and replace faulty or damaged components using tools, manuals, gauges, and testing equipment;
  • Write technical reports;
  • Verify the structural and mechanical systems of aircraft, ensuring compliance with the performance and safety standards of Transport Canada and the company;
  • Be willing to travel across Canada and occasionally to other countries.
  • Rigor and Precision: An aircraft maintenance technician must be meticulous in their work to ensure flight safety. The slightest error can have serious consequences.
  • Adherence to Procedures:Following maintenance procedures and aviation regulations is crucial. Technicians must be aware of applicable standards and regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Team Spirit:Working collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and crew members is essential for solving problems quickly and efficiently.

  • Aircraft Maintenance Technology Diploma;
  • M2 certification;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • You want to work an evening 4-3 schedule (4 working days, 3 days off).
  • You hold a valid driver’s license and a passport (or is able to obtain one);
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Proficiency in French, both oral and written;
  • Good knowledge of English, both oral and written, to be able to read procedures.
