Job summary

Groupe ADF seeks an Electromechanical Technician for its Latesys subsidiary in Mirabel, QC, to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems during night shifts. You will plan interventions, disassemble and reassemble equipment according to drawings, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires DEPs or DECs in electromechanics/industrial mechanics, French literacy, and the ability to pass security screening.

Qualifications

• DEP in electromechanics or DEC in industrial mechanics is required.
• Knowledge of aeronautical sector tools is an asset.
• Reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read and write in French.
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
• Pass a federal government security screening for controlled goods.
• Available for night shift: 22:30 - 7:00 - 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical breakdowns.
• Develop an intervention plan based on diagnoses.
• Disassemble and reassemble mechanical systems according to drawings, procedures, and standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment on site.
• Perform functional tests after repairs.
• Repair and adjust equipment.
• Draft reports on CMMS systems.
• Identify causes of major breakdowns.
• Participate in continuous improvement process.
• Comply with current OHS standards.
