Job summary

AAA Canada in Dorval is seeking several Pre-Flight Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMEs) to join its team. You will install and repair mechanical components, perform functional tests on aircraft systems, inspect mechanical systems, and prepare aircraft for flight operations through daily inspections and refueling.

Candidates should have a DEC/AEC in Aircraft Maintenance, an AME license (M2/B1 or B2), a DES, and at least five years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance recognized by MICC.
  • AME license (M2/B1 or B2) and a DES high school diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years of Aircraft Maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and drawings.
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset for multilingual communication.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair mechanical components.
  • Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems.
  • Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, etc.).
  • Prepare aircraft for flight operations (daily inspections, refueling).
  • Participate in engine and APU testing.
  • Carry out modifications per Service Bulletins and standards.
  • Work in noisy or dusty environments as required.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement Program and related duties.

Pre-Flight Aircraft Maintenance Technician Permanent

AAA Canada is looking for several Pre-Flight Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMEs) to join its team.

Responsibilities
  • Install and repair mechanical components;
  • Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
  • Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight controls, etc.);
  • Prepare aircraft for flight operations (refueling, daily inspections);
  • Participate in engine and APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) testing;
  • Carry out modifications in accordance with Service Bulletins while complying with industry standards;
  • May be required to work in a noisy environment and in the presence of dust;
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Program (SAE);
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications

You have a college or vocational education:

  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in Aircraft Maintenance, or an equivalent aircraft maintenance diploma recognized by the Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities (MICC);
  • AME license, Class M2 (B1) or B1 (B2), and a High School Diploma (DES);
  • Five (5) years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Mechanic;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals;
  • Flexibility to work various shifts;
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken, is considered a strong asset for communication within the client's multilingual environment and for technical documentation.
Required Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
