AAA Canada is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Evening Shift in Montreal, QC. You will lead a unionized team of 15-25 employees, drive KPIs, and ensure performance under tight deadlines.

The role focuses on Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and coaching talent in a fast-paced aerospace environment. We value strong leadership, flexibility, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a unionized manufacturing setting.

Job Description

In your role, you will:

• Exercise your leadership while respecting the company's vision and values;
• Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
• Manage your team's performance using KPIs;
• Manage the workload and individual performance of unionized employees;
• Ensure continuous improvement, notably through the application of the problem-solving process;
• Coach your team (15-25 employees) to develop their talent within the organization;
• Identify, document, and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
• Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the organization;

Your Profile:

• You have management experience in a unionized environment, ideally in the manufacturing or aerospace industry;
• You have excellent management skills;
• You demonstrate very strong leadership, judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work with a minimum of supervision;
• You are results-oriented, capable of meeting tight deadlines, comfortable working under pressure, and have a sense of urgency;
• You have solid communication skills;
• You have a good understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles;
• You are proficient in French and English;
