Job summary

Elmer’s Manufacturing Ltd in Manitoba is seeking a hands-on assembler to build components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions. You will perform tasks with precision, verify fit and function, and uphold quality standards in every step.

You will identify defects, follow safety rules, and contribute to continuous improvement with practical ideas, working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, growth-oriented facility near Altona.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Assemble components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standard

• Verify fit, finish, and functionality to ensure quality standards are met before product moves forward
• Identify defects, errors, or deviations and take appropriate action to prevent quality issues from advancing
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and safe work practices at all times
• Identify process inefficiencies, quality concerns, or safety risks and bring them forward
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest practical solutions
• Work collaboratively with team members and leaders to meet production goals
