Job summary

Sofina Foods Inc. in Brampton, ON is seeking a Trimmer/Deboner (Butcher) for our Goreway Plant. The role is a morning shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a starting wage of $26.21/hour and $27.21/hour after a 3-month probation.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions from managers/supervisors.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety and processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Meat cutting and trimming.
• Lifting up to 25 kg.
• Assist Lead Hand in assembling equipment for production.
• Sharpen knives for both shifts.
• Other duties as required.
