Job summary

Sofina Foods Inc. is hiring a Ham Trimmer (Butcher) for our Goreway Plant in Brampton, Ontario. The afternoon shift runs 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Trimming open muscles to expose star fat and remove glands, while following HACCP and safety guidelines to produce a safe, quality product. Requirements include clear verbal and written English, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Trimming - open muscles to expose star fat for removal and trim off popliteal glands
• Ability to lift up to 25kgs
• Must work strictly in compliance with all Health & Safety requirements
• Produce a safe and quality product according to HACCP/Food Safety and QA Manual
• Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor and/or Designate

Main Duties:

• Trimming - open muscles to expose star fat for removal and trim off popliteal glands

• Ability to lift up to 25kgs

• Must work strictly in compliance with all Health & Safety requirements

• Produce a safe and quality product according to product specifications and HACCP/Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manual
