Job summary

Borderland Co-op in Moosomin is seeking a Meat Manager to lead the Meat department, coordinate operations, and ensure high quality products and guest service.

You will drive profit by managing budgets, implementing marketing ideas, and developing a motivated team while maintaining targets for sales and margins in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires 3–6 years in retail with at least 1 year in a leadership role, and a commitment to community-focused service.

• Experience coordinating and directing Meat department operations.

What youll do:

The Meat Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the Meat department operations while maintaining a profitable department, high quality products and superb service levels. The manager implements marketing ideas to promote the business, encourages a high level of employee engagement, maintains revenue and expense budgets, and meets budgeted productivity while keeping quality and guest service consistently high.

• Ensure established sale targets and margins are obtained
• Explore opportunities to grow sales and increase margin
• Lead training and development of team members with the department
