Job summary

Walmart Canada in Bolton, ON is seeking a Meat Associate to support the meat department with service, cleanliness and stock management.

You will provide outstanding customer care, help with deli preparation, price and label merchandise, follow food safety practices, and work with a team to deliver a welcoming in-store experience.

The position offers hourly pay starting at 18.05 CAD, with shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the department clean, organized and properly zoned, ensuring it is customer-ready at all times. Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.
• Ensures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Adheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.
• Takes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken. Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.
• Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
