Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Meat Associate to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will keep the meat department clean, organized, and well-stocked, support daily sales activities, and help create a fresh, inviting shopping experience for customers.

You will rotate stock, ensure accurate pricing and signing, follow food safety and cold chain standards, and safely operate slicers, rotisserie ovens, and fryers to fulfill customer orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department organization and standards to keep the meat area customer-ready.
• Ensure pricing and signing are accurate and follow procedures for stock changes.
• Adhere to food safety and cold chain practices, including temperature checks and date compliance.
• Prepare deli items (meat, cheese, fried chicken) using equipment safely for customer orders.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and store policies to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
