• Maintain Department Organization and Standards – keep meat department clean, organized, and properly zoned; rotate stock and remove expired items.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing – ensure merchandise is signed and priced; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, signages, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices – adhere to food safety standards, temperature checks, proper handling, rotation, and shelf life compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products – take orders and prepare deli items using slicers, rotisseries, fryers; fill displays and fulfill special orders.
• Health and Safety Compliance – follow safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Flexibility – work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
