Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: keep the meat department clean, organized, and properly zoned; rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: ensure merchandise is signed and priced; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices: adhere to food safety, temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper handling, rotation, sell-by and expiration date compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products: take orders and prepare deli items (meat, cheese, fried chicken) using slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers; fill display cases and complete orders.
• Health and Safety Compliance: follow Health and Safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe, clean, hygienic work environment.
