Job summary

Safeway in Calgary is seeking a Meat Cutter to directly assist customers and provide guidance on grilling and nutrition, while preparing high-quality cuts that uphold Safeway's reputation.

You will cut and prepare meat, stock shelves, maintain displays, operate power tools, and ensure clean, safe work areas; weekend availability is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in meat cutting is an asset.

A day in the life of a Meat Cutter:

You will deal directly with customers and answer questions on everything from grilling to nutrition. Our highly skilled Meat Cutters are trained here to prepare the outstanding quality cuts that Safeway has built its reputation on.
