Job summary

Workland is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Birthing Unit in North Bay. You will care for antenatal, labour, birth, postpartum and newborn patients with active CNO registration, current BLS, and NRP certification.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, provide health teaching, and support family-centred maternity care. Bilingual English/French proficiency is required, with a French assessment conducted if needed.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certificate (within last 12 months).
• Minimum 2–3 years experience caring for antenatal, labour, birth, postpartum and newborn patients (within last 1–2 years).
• Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.
• Current certifications: IV Therapy, Fetal Health Surveillance, Cervical Examinations, Epidural Care, Breastfeeding Education (WHO Level I).
• Peri-Operative Role for Caesarean Section (scrub and circulating) certification.
