Join our team as a Materials Transfer Driver with the Facilities Management Division (FMD)! In this position, you will serve as a vital link for state government operations. You will spend roughly 60% of your day on the road, safely driving a state vehicle to collect and deliver mail across participating state agencies, the legislature, and the general public. When you are not driving, you will work in our high-energy central mail hub. There, you will operate postal machinery, sort and process outbound USPS mail.
Successful applicant must pass a criminal background check through American Databank, employment reference checks, a pre-employment physical (CRT test requirement minimum is medium-heavy ex. Able to lift 31-45 lbs. frequently 100-300 reps per hour), a DOT drug screen, and a driver’s license check.
