Job summary

Black Fly Beverage Company is seeking a detail-oriented Material Preparation Associate (Kitting) to keep the flavour warehouse organized and ensure smooth production. You will prepare and move ingredients, follow batch sheets, and operate equipment safely in a hands-on warehouse role.

Ideal candidates have an eye for accuracy, good math skills, and comfort with documentation. The position is based on-site with an afternoon shift and offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Strong math skills for weights and measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate pumps and basic tools.
• Ability to perform in-process quality checks.
• Basic computer knowledge and comfort with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Map and organize the flavour warehouse inventory.
• Prepare and stage bulk ingredients on pallets using FIFO.
• Complete batch sheets and record lot numbers accurately.
• Place partial ingredients on pallets for the mixing team.
• Deliver prepared pallets to mixing areas and weigh returned ingredients.
• Collect juices and other ingredients from the cooler as needed.
• Verify batch sheets before production start.
• Move flammable materials to explosion-proof containers as required.
