Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Material Handler – Kitting for a full-time evening shift (4 pm - 12 am). The role supports warehouse functions under supervision with clearly established procedures, and offers on-site parking and a 10% shift premium on evenings.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of warehouse/electronics experience, a high school diploma, strong organization, communication, and attention to detail, plus good PC and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with interplant transfers.
• Door Service (P0LR); works with company inventory system.
• Transfers excess material between customers.
• Performs cycle count activities.
• Resolves discrepancies and recommends changes to processes to reduce future discrepancies.
• Maintains and updates policies and procedures and trains others as required.
• Replenishes raw material using established replenishment methods.
• Expedite shortages or potential shortages to satisfy orders in a timely manner.

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Material Handlers in the Electro-Mechanical Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Under general supervision, the Material Handler – Kitting carries out semi-routine tasks in support of the warehouse function. The Material Handler – Kitting generally works with clearly established procedures to perform responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists with interplant transfers
• Door Service (P0LR); works with company inventory system
• Transfers excess material between customers
• Performs cycle count activities
• Resolves discrepancies and recommends changes to processes to reduce future discrepancies
• Maintains and updates policies and procedures and trains others as required
• Replenishes raw material using a variety of established replenishment methods
• Expedite shortages or potential shortages in order that manufacturing and/or customer orders can be satisfied in a timely manner

Requirements

• At least one (1) year of previous warehouse, material handling, and/or electronics-related experience, minimum
• High School Education, minimum
• Strong organizational, communication, and attention to detail aptitude
• Excellent PC skills are required
• Basic math skills are required
